The 3rd Annual SGI Brewfest on April 28, 2018 was again a smashing success. With a sold out crowd and amazing craft beers from more than 40 breweries, there were ample suds, sunshine, and smiles to go around. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, and the dedicated work of our local volunteers, we broke yet another fundraising record for the Franklin County Humane Society. This year, we are proud to have delivered a check for $33,000 (!!!) to the FCHS, represented at the presentation ceremony by Executive Director Karen Martin.

2nd Annual SGI Brewfest Raises $28,000 for Franklin County Humane Society.
In 2017, we raised $28,000 for the Franklin County Humane Society. Come help us break that record next year!
See the article in the Apalachicola Times.
The second annual SGI Brewfest was a huge success on April 29, raising $28,000 for the Franklin County Humane Society.
The generosity and support of the Brewfest sponsors, and the army of volunteers who helped make the event happen, were appreciated by all involved. Over 600 people spent the day at Paddy’s Raw Bar and Journeys of St. George Island, where they sampled the offerings of 40 craft breweries from around the country. Dining on delicious fare provided by Paddy’s, and entertained by the island tunes of Dave Dale, these pet lovers and brew buffs contributed vital funds to the ongoing operation of the Humane Society.
